Flathead Valley is home to many small businesses, and ice cream is one of the tastiest. Right in time for summer, we are serving up all of our favorite locally-owned shops. From Lakeside to Whitefish, and everything in between, we have got you covered this summer. 

  • Glacier Shaved Ice

Glacier Shaved Ice is a shaved ice food truck in Flathead Valley. Most commonly found in the Kalispell Smiths parking lot, but can also be found at many of the community fundraisers/events here in Kalispell.

Sweet Peaks Kalispell is located perfectly in the heart of Kalispell, directly on Main St. With Classic and Specialty Flavors, you could spend all day just deciding what to try!

  • Sugar & Spice 

Sugar & Spice is serving up everything nice in Bigfork Mt! With coffee, ice cream, candy, and baked treats, Sugar & Spice is a one-stop-shop! 

Norm’s Soda Fountain, located on Main St in Kalispell. With an old fashioned soda fountain and plenty of sweets to try, Norma Soda Fountain can be a blast for everyone!

  • Chop Chop Rolled Ice Cream

Ran by a husband and wife, Chop Chop Rolled Ice Cream is a food truck dessert you don’t want to miss out on! You can find them at many community events, or check out their Facebook for updates on their daily locations!

  • Sweet Retreat Creamery 

Located in Columbia Falls, Sweet Retreat Creamery is a new, locally-owned ice cream shop. With plenty of flavors to choose from and freshly made waffle cones, Sweet Retreat Creamery is a must for your summer bucket list!

  • Ghostland Grounds 

Located in Columbia Falls, Ghostland Grounds has a large variety of food and sweet treats! You can spend breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert at Ghostland Grounds, making it a must-try location! 

New to Lakeside Mt, Treasure State Coffee Co serves hot and cold coffee beverages, delicious ice cream treats, tasty pastries, and sandwiches. While enjoying all your favorites you can also enjoy a great view of beautiful Flathead Lake!
